Six Seven Things That
Make Me Smile

Simon loves his berries. If you can't ever find him, look for the nearest berry bush
In this photo, he's busy picking salmonberries. Not very tasty, but ok until the
blackberries are out.
It was humorous watching some people try to bring their boats in
and (unsuccessfully) place them on their trailers. That was especially so yesterday
when the wind pushed the boats wayward. The man in the blue boat amused me
because after each attempt to land his boat, he would get so pissed and was
muttering all over the place. Rather than helping him, His wife(?) just sat in the
truck
which made it all the more amusing.
While walking down to the end of the dock with Sue, a huge motorboat rode by, creating a
lot
of waves. The boats docked were all swaying back and forth, and I had to use my
"sea legs" to keep from falling over. A man in a very run-down sailboat was
sticking
his head out of the cabin saying "I hate motorboats, I hate motorboats". And I
chuckled
as he was saying this to someone who *owned* a motorboat. When he popped back into his
cabin, Sue made a good observation that the sailboat he had had no sail. Nothing. He was
docked in a sailboat with no sail. So the irony is that if he wants to go anywhere, he has
to
use a motor, the very thing he said he hated. It takes all kinds, I guess ;)
Had lemon merengue pie for dessert, garnished with a strawberry...
That surely brought a smile to my face.
Roses always bring a smile to my lips. Especially smelling them.
Sitting in the cool grass resting my tired feet
Still having sore feet, I decided to be ultra-relaxed and take a bath. How can I take
a bath and forget my rubber ducky, right? So there he is, having a float in the water.
